Voor Taxi vervoer naar Schiphol of een andere plaats kunt u het beste op het internet de taxi bestellen. Tegenwoordig als je op een taxistandplaats in de taxi stapt, weet je nooit van te voren wat je voor zo’n taxiritje moet gaan betalen. De taxibranche is in 2000 tegen beter weten in gedereguleerd door de overheid, en sindsdien een puinhoop. Ondank de vele rapporten en bewijzen waar de taxibranche mee kwam, hebben de alwetende toenmalige minister Netelenbos en Jorritsma de wet er toch doorheen gedrukt. Inmiddels zijn vele chauffeurs failliet gegaan, mede omdat ze veel geld voor een taxivergunning hadden betaald en de schuld niet meer konden opbrengen door de nieuwe taxiwet. Oudere chauffeurs die tegen hun pensioen aan hingen moeten nu langer doorwerken omdat hun oude dag voorziening teniet is gedaan door de overheid.
